  • Wattage: 100W.
  • Input Voltage: Typically supports a wide voltage range, often between 90-300V AC or 110-277V AC, 50/60Hz.
  • Driver: Constant current electronic driver is common. Often integral. Potted drivers may be used for better heat dissipation.
  • Power Factor (PF): High power factor, usually >0.95, indicating efficient use of electrical energy.
  • Power Efficiency: Often >90%.
  • Surge Protection: Many models incorporate surge protection, with common ratings being 4KV or 6KV. Some drivers may offer higher protection up to 10KV externally.
  • Over/Under Voltage Protection: Some products offer protection against voltage fluctuations, including features like auto-cut off at high voltage (e.g., 320V).
  • THD (Total Harmonic Distortion): Typically <10% to 15% as per IEC standards.

  2. Lighting characteristics

  • Lumen Output: High brightness, with lumens typically ranging from 10,000 to 18,000 lm, depending on the LED type and efficacy. Some products mention >15000 lumens.
  • Lumen Efficacy: The efficiency of the light fixture, often measured in lumens per watt, can be >100 lm/W to >180 lm/W, depending on the specific model and LED type.
  • Color Temperature (CCT): Commonly available in Cool White (6500K) for high visibility. Neutral White (4000K) and Warm White (3000K) options are also available.
  • Color Rendering Index (CRI): Typically >70 or >80, indicating good color accuracy.
  • Beam Angle: The angle of light distribution, often around 120° or 70°x155°, to ensure wide and uniform coverage.
  • Lens: Polycarbonate or toughened glass is used for the cover and lens to protect the LEDs and direct light effectively. Some models specifically mention lens technology for uniform distribution.

  3. Physical characteristics

  • Housing Material: Durable materials like die-cast aluminum (often ADC12 grade) are used for the housing, providing robustness and contributing to heat dissipation. Powder coating is a common finish.
  • Ingress Protection (IP Rating): High IP ratings are standard for outdoor use. Many fixtures are rated IP65 (water resistant) or IP66 (dust-tight and resistant to strong water jets).
  • Heat Management: Integrated heat sinks, fins, and efficient casing design ensure effective thermal management to prolong the life of the LEDs. Potted drivers can also aid in heat dissipation.
  • Dimensions and Weight: Dimensions and weight can vary depending on the specific model and design. One example lists dimensions of 44L x 23W x 12H Centimeters and a weight of 2700 Grams. Another lists 540x220x125 mm dimensions and a weight of 4.5 kg. A further example mentions 525 x 182 x 56 mm.
  • Mounting: Designed for various mounting arrangements, including pole mount and wall mount. Mounting brackets are often included. Standard pipe sizes for mounting can be around 48mm to 60mm diameter.
  • Operating Temperature: Designed to operate within a specific temperature range, typically from -30℃ to 50℃ or similar, ensuring performance in various climates.

  4. Performance and reliability

  • Lifespan: Average lifespan is 50,000 hours or more. Some manufacturers claim up to 54,000 hours.
  • Lumen Maintenance: Typically >70% after a significant portion of its life span.
  • Certifications: May carry certifications like CE, RoHS, BIS (for India), UL, or LM80, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
  • Warranty: Warranties typically range from 1 to 5 years, depending on the manufacturer and model.

  MKSL-03 – 50 WATT LED STREET LIGHT

₹1,200.00 Original price was: ₹1,200.00.₹999.00Current price is: ₹999.00.

  • 50 watt LED street lights are physically located in the wrong storage bin, shelf, or section within the warehouse or storage area.
  • For example, a box containing 50 watt LED street lights might be mistakenly placed in an area designated for 30 watt or 200 watt models.

  2. Misidentification or mislabeling

  • Incorrect labels are applied to the physical street light fixtures or their packaging, indicating a different wattage, model number, or specification than the actual product.
  • For instance, a label might erroneously identify a 50 watt street light as a 100 watt unit, leading to confusion and potential errors during order picking.

  3. Discrepancy in quantity

  • The number of 50 watt street lights physically present in a particular location doesn’t match the quantity recorded in the inventory system.
  • This could be due to errors during receiving, shipping, cycle counting, or potential theft or loss.

  4. Mixing of similar products

  • If there are several types of street lights that are visually similar, like 50 watt models with slightly different features or color temperatures, they might be accidentally mixed together.
  • This makes accurate picking and packing challenging, leading to incorrect shipments.

  Impact of such discrepancies

  • Order Fulfillment Delays: Misplaced or misidentified 50 watt LED street lights can cause delays in fulfilling customer orders, impacting customer satisfaction.
  • Incorrect Shipments: Customers might receive the wrong wattage or model of street light, leading to returns, exchanges, and additional shipping costs.
  • Inefficient Operations: Searching for missing street lights and rectifying errors takes up valuable time and resources, decreasing overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Financial Losses: Discrepancies can lead to lost sales, increased return costs, and potential write-offs of unusable or obsolete inventory.

Addressing and preventing “product sort discrepancies”

  • Improved Labeling and Identification: Implement clear, standardized labeling practices and consider using barcode or RFID technology for accurate product identification.
  • Regular Cycle Counting: Conduct frequent, small-scale physical counts to identify and correct discrepancies promptly.
  • Optimized Warehouse Layout: Arrange your warehouse logically, placing similar products together and ensuring clear signage for each location.
  • Enhanced Employee Training: Train staff on proper inventory handling, identification, and system usage to minimize human errors.
  • Utilize an Inventory Management System: Implement or upgrade to an efficient inventory management system that can track inventory in real-time and provide accurate data.
  • Implement Quality Control Checks: Introduce checks at various stages, from receiving to picking and packing, to ensure the correct street lights are being handled.

By implementing these strategies, businesses can significantly improve inventory accuracy for 50 watt LED street lights, leading to smoother operations, reduced costs, and improved customer satisfaction
